Pump Engineer– Remote (Ideally Based Around London – M25) Tired of feeling like just another number on the rota? As a Pump Engineer, you’ll be working across a wide range of commercial sites — from installation and commissioning to fault-finding, repair, and maintenance of both clean and wastewater pumping systems. You’ll be part of a skilled, multi-disciplinary team operating across the UK, but this role focuses mainly around London and the South, giving you plenty of variety and autonomy. Job Responsibilities Carry out installation, commissioning, and reactive repair work on commercial pump systems Work across both clean and wastewater systems, ensuring all jobs meet high technical and safety standards Diagnose faults, replace components, and complete electrical isolation where required Manage your workload efficiently to deliver first-time fixes wherever possible Complete all required job documentation Liaise with clients on-site to provide clear updates and ensure satisfaction Participate in the on-call rota (1 week in 7), supporting emergency repairs as required Travel to sites across London, the South, and surrounding areas – door-to-door paid Skills and Experience Proven experience as a Pump Engineer, ideally working with both clean and wastewater systems Background in commercial or industrial pump installations and maintenance Strong fault-finding, mechanical, and electrical skills Confident working independently and solving problems on-site CSCS card Confined Space certification (preferred) Electrical Isolation / 18th Edition (advantageous) Full UK driving licence Pay and Benefits Salary: Up to £45,000 OTE: £60,000 (realistic) Overtime: x1.5 (Saturday & midweek), x2 (Sunday & Bank Holidays) On-call bonuses and Confined Space entry payments Door-to-door pay Company van and fuel card 23 days holiday bank holidays Company pension Benefits platform and employee rewards scheme If you’re an experienced Pump Engineerlooking for a role where your expertise is recognised and rewarded, this is the opportunity you don’t want to miss.
