Service Desk Analyst – Belfast
Location: Belfast, Antrim, United Kingdom
Job Summary: REED Technology represent a retail organisation that has grown and is seeking a Service Desk Analyst to support approximately 1000 staff across 20 locations. The role involves desktop support, Active Directory administration, incident and request management in ServiceNow, and collaboration with infrastructure, business systems and development teams to ensure successful IT service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Active Directory administration.
* Recording and triage of IT incidents and requests within ServiceNow.
* Resolution of incidents and requests from initial reporting to successful remediation.
* Collaboration with infrastructure, business systems, and development colleagues to ensure successful resolution of IT incidents.
* Creation and management of starters and leavers within the company.
* Participation in and ownership of various IT maintenance tasks.
* General IT administration and purchasing of IT equipment.
* Assist desktop and infrastructure teams with the rollout of IT projects as required.
* Co‑ordination of IT tasks associated with dealership projects.
* Support the company's health and safety policy.
Qualifications and Experience
* At least 2 years' experience supporting Windows OS and related technologies.
* Previous experience in a structured Service Desk environment.
* Microsoft Active Directory expertise.
* Proven track record in resolving IT issues within SLA deadlines.
* Office 365 and Azure AD administration.
* Some experience with problem analysis and incident resolution.
* Basic knowledge of networking technologies.
* Full driving licence and access to your own transport.
* Experience dealing with IT suppliers.
