Our trauma‑informed, gender‑responsive approach ensures every service user gets the support they need on their recovery journey.

Salary: GBP 25,714 per annum

Role Responsibilities
 * Managing a caseload with a person‑centred approach
 * Conducting assessments and co‑producing care plans
 * Delivering structured 1:1 sessions and facilitating group work
 * Providing harm reduction advice and support
 * Performing second signatory duties
 * Supporting release planning and community reintegration
 * Accurately recording data and outcomes to measure success
Note: Health and Wellbeing Practitioners are working 37.5 hours per week under the 12‑month New Era pilot scheme, to be reviewed in August 2026.
Requirements
 * Experience or interest in working with individuals affected by substance misuse or low‑level mental health needs
 * Strong commitment to trauma‑informed and gender‑responsive practices
 * Ability to work collaboratively across prison, healthcare, and mental health teams
 * Willingness to work weekends on a rota basis
 * Commitment to completing the Drug and Alcohol Workforce Development Programme (DAWFDP) within 12 months
