General Labourers urgently wanted

1. Requirement:
2. Approx 25 roles available
3. No tickets required, this is a general labourer role
4. Successful individuals will be required to do manual handling, physical labour, movement of steel manufacturing equipment and operation of cranes
5. Individuals must be prepared to commute daily to Hereford with travel costs the individual’s responsibility
6. PPE is provided by the Client
7. Expectation is that the labourers will be raw but able to demonstrate eagerness to learn, a positive “can-do” attitude and the ability to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in
8. Training to be provided, taking circa 2-4 weeks
9. Hourly rate of pay to the operative £14.42/hour (if made permanent subject to annual review 1/1/26)
10. Working hours:
11. Initially for the next 2-4 weeks 08:00 – 16:00
12. Thereafter be implementing a 2 shift pattern as follows:
13. Shift 1: 06:00 – 14:00 (between 06:00 – 08:00 there will be an uplift in hourly rate to the operative)
14. Shift 2:14:00 – 22:00 (between 16:00 – 22:00 there will be an uplift in hourly rate to the operative)
15. Shift 1 and Shift 2 will alternate on a weekly basis for the operative
16. Aspirations from the client:
17. New successful operatives to be drip fed into the business upon successful interview process, 2-3/week to allow for focused training of new starts (i.e. circa 10 weeks phased commencement)
18. If the individuals perform well after 2-4 weeks, they become directly employed by the client
