Personal Injury Solicitor – Defence Team
Location: Belfast - hybrid working options are available.
A great opportunity has arisen to join an established personal injury defence team in Belfast. The team acts for a range of national and international insurers on a variety of claims, providing exposure to a broad and interesting mix of cases in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Responsibilities
* Manage your own caseload of low to medium value claims and assist on higher value matters
* Advise clients and insurers on liability and coverage issues
* Conduct investigations, prepare documentation and liaise with relevant parties
* Work closely with senior solicitors and colleagues across the team
* Ensure matters are progressed efficiently and in line with best practice
Experience
* 1-3 years PQE as a Northern Irish qualified solicitor (applications outside this PQE range will be considered)
* Experience in insurance/personal injury defence preferred
* Confident managing a busy caseload and deadlines
Skills
* Clear written and verbal communication
* Organised and able to prioritise competing work
* Good research and technical skills
* Attention to detail and professional client approach
* Collaborative team player with initiative
