We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences for children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing environment that promotes the development and well-being of every child in our care.
Duties
* Provide attentive and responsive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's individual needs.
* Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform planning and support their development.
* Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions, ensuring a structured yet flexible environment.
* Work collaboratively with other staff members to create an inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation from all children.
* Drive initiatives that promote health, safety, and hygiene within the nursery setting.
Experience
* Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential, with a strong understanding of child development principles.
* Excellent communication skills in English are required to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Leadership qualities are advantageous for those looking to take on additional responsibilities within the nursery team.
* A genuine passion for working with children and the ability to manage diverse needs within a nursery setting is crucial.
