Brentwood County High School, part of Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust, is seeking an inspiring and visionary Deputy Headteacher to lead on Raising Standards of Achievement and Sixth Form provision. This is a pivotal strategic role for an exceptional leader who is passionate about inclusive education, high expectations for all, and evidence-informed school improvement. Responsibilities
* Lead with integrity, vision and a relentless focus on raising standards for all learners.
* Drive high-quality teaching and curriculum development through our ACE evidence-based approach.
* Provide strategic leadership of Sixth Form, ensuring a thriving curriculum, excellent outcomes, and strong progression routes.
* Support the Headteacher in the day-to-day operational management of a complex and dynamic school.
* Shape and deliver school improvement priorities, working collaboratively within the trust's peer-review model.
* Model a culture of inclusion, high expectations, and positive behaviour.
* Champion reading, achievement, and high-quality assessment across the school.
* Build strong relationships with students, staff, parents, governors, and trust partners.
Qualifications
* A proven track record of successful senior leadership in an 11-18 setting.
* Experience in leading Sixth Form and raising standards of achievement.
* Strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to inspire and empower others.
* A commitment to safeguarding, inclusive practice, and the wellbeing of all students.
