We’re looking for a Business Advisory Analyst with strong expertise in Claims Processing (P1) to join our team on a maternity cover basis. If you have a passion for providing excellent service and supporting customers at their most vulnerable moments, this could be your next career move.
What You’ll Do:
As a Business Advisory Analyst, you will be responsible for managing Individual Protection claims from initial notification through to final settlement. You’ll operate within an agreed level of authority and ensure service standards are consistently met.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing claims in line with the client’s claims philosophy and policy terms and conditions.
Communicating with members, clients, doctors, service providers, intermediaries, reinsurers, and the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) to:
Gather additional information
Explain claims processes and outcomes
Resolve appeals and complaints
Building and maintaining strong relationships with intermediaries and service providers.
Contributing ideas for continuous improvement to keep our claims process innovative and customer-focused.
Collaborating with other teams including Group Claim Assessors, Underwriting, Actuarial, and Client Services to drive best practices across the business.
What You’ll Bring:
Solid experience in insurance services claims processing
Strong understanding of insurance principles and claims assessment procedures
Excellent communication skills in English
A proactive, customer-centric approach
Ability to manage sensitive or complex claims with empathy and accuracy
Experience handling appeals and resolving complaints effectively
