Business Assurance Coordinator
Location: Norwich, Norfolk
Reporting to the Business Assurance Manager, this role supports the delivery of efficient and effective administrative processes across the Business Assurance function. These processes help the organisation meet its operational, regulatory and customer commitments.
This position plays a key part in maintaining strong governance and continuous improvement. It would suit someone who is organised, collaborative and comfortable working with confidential information, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
What you'll be doing:
* Provide general administrative support to the Business Assurance team.
* Support the development, maintenance and improvement of Business Management System documentation, including procedures, risk assessments and records.
* Maintain accurate records and support trend analysis reporting.
* Assist with internal audits covering Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality and Information Security requirements, ensuring actions are followed up.
* Support accident and near‑miss investigations, including corrective actions.
* Maintain registers for First Aiders and Fire Marshals and support training and welfare provision.
* Assist with contractor coordination, facilities activities and supply chain pre‑qualification questionnaires.
* Support recycling and waste management reporting.
* Promote good practice in health and safety, data protection, quality, housekeeping and continuous improvement.
* Handle personal and confidential information appropriately and in line with data protection requirements.
About you:
* Relevant administrative or coordination experience.
* Experience working as part of a team and interacting with customers or stakeholders.
* Confident in record keeping and document control.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
* Well organised, adaptable and able to manage changing priorities.
* Clear communicator with a professional and confidential approach.
* Committed to personal development and respectful, inclusive working practices.
Desirable (but not essential)
* Familiarity with Business Assurance systems or ISO standards (e.g. ISO 9001).
* IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
