We are partnering with a well-established and forward-thinking
Accountancy practice
that provides a full range of services to individuals, sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. Known for their commitment to excellent client service and long-term relationships, this growing firm is now looking to hire a
proactive and organised Administrator
to support their day-to-day operations and internal processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support to partners, accountants, and the wider team
* Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence professionally and efficiently
* Maintain and update client records with accuracy and confidentiality
* Handle document preparation, scanning, filing, and archiving (both digital and physical)
* Support client onboarding, including AML checks and collecting KYC documentation
* Assist with diary management, meeting scheduling, and appointment coordination
* Liaise with clients on document submissions and deadline reminders
* Track key deadlines for tax returns, Companies House filings, and submissions
* Draft letters, invoices, and engagement letters using established templates
* Order office supplies and liaise with service providers
* Perform general administrative tasks to ensure a compliant and efficient office environment
Requirements:
Essential:
* Prior experience in an administrative role, ideally within accountancy or professional services
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
* Professional and discreet when handling confidential information
Desirable:
* Experience using accountancy or CRM software (e.g., Xero, Iris, CCH)
* Familiarity with AML and KYC compliance during client onboarding
* Previous experience in a client-facing role
