Hays Senior Finance are working with a rapidly growing manufacturing business to recruit a Commercial Accountant to join its finance team. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the Commercial Accountant will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, improving operational efficiency, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business. This is a hands-on role requiring both technical expertise and strong commercial insight. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) - Lead the 12 months rolling quarterly forecast, ensuring assumptions are clearly articulated and traceable through underlying planning processes in commercial and operations. Build and maintain financial models to support scenario analysis and pricing decisions Provide timely monthly performance reporting Offer insights to operational and commercial leaders that add value and can help shape production planning and longer-term strategic initiatives. Support cross-functional teams in aligning operational decisions with company strategy, sustainability objectives and customer commitments. We are keen to speak to qualified accountants who have a proven background in management accounting and more recent commercial accounting experience, ideally with manufacturing experience.
