My client, a national housing developer, is looking to hire an Assistant Site Manager for a scheme based in Grantham, Lincolnshire consisting of a total of 120 traditionally built houses. Mix of private sale and HA
The ideal candidate will have experience of working as either a Trainee/Assistant Site manager within a production team on similar new build traditional build projects. Someone who is keen, driven and wants to build a successful career with a growing business.
Duties,
1. No2, Assistant Site Manager reporting in to a Site Manager/Senior Site Manager
2. Tool-box talks
3. RAMS
4. Depending on experience you will be working with either External or Internal packages
5. Support with inductions and toolbox talks
6. Working in line with company programmes and have a clear understanding of customer care
7. Ensure sub-contractors and trades staff are working inline with programme and targets
8. Ensure any issues that cannot be rectified are brought to the attention of the No'1 on site.
9. Organise all trades & Labour and sub-contractors
10. NHBC stage inspections
11. Snagging/Re-snagging
12. Providing clear direction to the on-site construction team regarding responsibilities and targets
13. Ensuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme
14. Driving through quality at every stage of the construction process
15. Health and Safety is followed and adhered to
16. Taking responsibility for self-development and the development of others
17. Ensuring any remedial work is completed prior to occupation
Qualifications,
18. Trainee/Assistant Site Management experience in either residential or commercial build.
19. Trade background, whilst being a supervisor would be an advantage
20. Willing to take on additional duties and training offered by the company
21. CSCS
22. First Aid,
