We’re looking for a Teaching Assistant with BSL skills to support pupils in a welcoming, inclusive school environment where communication really matters.
You’ll use your British Sign Language (BSL) to help students access lessons, engage with their peers, and build confidence both in and out of the classroom.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting pupils with hearing impairments on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Using BSL to interpret and support communication across the school day
* Helping pupils stay engaged, included and confident in lessons
* Working closely with teachers and support staff to adapt learning
What we’re looking for:
* BSL Level 2 or above
* Experience supporting children or young people
* A patient, calm and proactive approach
* Someone who understands the importance of inclusive communication

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
