Role: Project Worker
1. Providing support to encourage our customers who have faced homelessness to maximise their own potential and independence.
2. Being a first point of contact to receive and direct all customer queries.
3. Supporting progress towards independence in managing positive mental health.
4. Offering one-to-one support as required.
5. Promoting safety by undertaking risk assessments and reviewing customers’ needs.
6. Regularly assessing the needs of customers, and updating support plans accordingly.
7. Developing professional relationships with customers using appropriate communication to ensure their personal choice, privacy, and dignity are maintained.
8. Delivering small group activities to promote recovery and well-being.
Skills and Experience:
1. Experience working with adults who have experienced homelessness.
2. Enthusiastic, flexible, with a strong "can-do" attitude.
3. Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
4. Strong organisational skills, with functional literacy and numeracy.
5. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while working to deadlines and targets.
6. NVQ3 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards it.
