Day to Day Duties
The day to day duties of a Purchase Ledger Clerk with our client will be:
Manage financial aspects related to purchase transactions, including invoice processing, payment authorisation, and record keeping.
Monitor and resolve all purchase ledger queries in a timely and efficient manner.
Prepare and execute payment runs, ensuring supplier accounts are reconciled.
Support month-end processes such as accruals and prepayments.
Work closely with the wider accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Perform credit checks on potential suppliers and maintain existing supplier relationships.
Essential Skills
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you must have:
Proven experience in a similar role.
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
A high level of proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
The ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Purchase Ledger Experience is required.
What training is provided?
Full Training on internal systems and procedures will be provided to all successful candidates and ongoing support throughout.
