Service Manager - Supported Accommodation (Young People)

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead a supported accommodation service in Bromley. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, trauma-informed support to young people experiencing homelessness and complex needs, helping them move towards independent living.
Responsibilities
* Lead the safe and high-quality delivery of supported accommodation services
* Manage a team of 2 Senior Progression Coaches, 6 Progression Coaches, and 1 Housing Management Worker
* Deliver a trauma-informed, outcome-focused service for young people
* Build and maintain strong partnerships with external agencies and stakeholders
* Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and risks are managed appropriately
* Oversee KPI reporting, contract compliance, and data submissions
* Manage service budgets, rental income, and expenditure effectively
* Monitor voids and ensure properties are utilised within agreed timeframes
* Ensure health & safety and legal compliance across all sites
* Represent the organisation at commissioning meetings and local forums
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience managing a service, ideally within supported housing or similar settings
* Experience working with young people with complex needs (mental health, substance misuse, etc.)
* Strong experience in service delivery, KPI reporting, and contract compliance
* Experience supervising and leading staff teams
* Knowledge of risk assessments and support planning
* Experience working in multi-agency environments and managing partnerships
* Budget management and financial oversight experience
* Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures
* Good IT, literacy, and numeracy skills
* Commitment to health & safety best practices

* Experience managing teams across multiple or dispersed sites
