Actuarial Analyst / Senior Actuarial Consultant
Our client is an award-winning, leading consultancy with several opportunities across Edinburgh and Glasgow for part-qualified, nearly qualified, and just-qualified actuarial consultants to join their central offices. Agile working is encouraged moving forward.
The company has continued to grow, win new business, and obtain new projects, leading to additional resource needs for both experienced professionals and those who fit within their culture. You will mainly provide high-quality actuarial services to trustees and corporate and/or private clients concerning employee benefits schemes. Multiple roles are available depending on career aspirations.
The successful candidate as an analyst will work in a close-knit team, delivering services to a portfolio of clients. Strong communication skills are essential to build trusted working and client relationships, with the ability to articulate work clearly and understandably. Responsibilities include preparing client invoices, valuing pension benefits, and understanding technical actuarial calculations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates who are members of the Institute or Faculty of Actuaries working towards actuarial qualifications, with at least 1 year of experience in pensions, preferably with knowledge of Defined Benefit schemes.
If you wish to stop studies or pursue exams outside the IFoA, support can also be provided.
Our client offers study support and top-class on-the-job training to progress towards becoming a fully qualified actuary if desired. They are recognized for their excellent benefits package.
The successful applicant will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary, award-winning benefits including flexible working, and the chance to develop a career in a fully supported environment.
Please contact Alison Curran as soon as possible to discuss this role and potential further opportunities across the central belt. Confidential discussions can be held prior to formal application.
