Wood is currently recruiting for a Well Operations Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas and Petrochemical Industries on a contract basis.
Hybrid working – Client office at Northop, with agile working condition (8-10 days SW per month)
The Role
You will diligently plan, engineer, organise, support and report on the client’s well operations and well abandon operations in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner, achieving technical objectives by applying accepted engineering practices.

This will include projects in full lifecycles ranging from early Study / FEED into detail design which will cover sectors within the O&G, renewable energy, pharmaceutical and chemicals. Expected:
5. Well Engineering training and experience
6. Specific knowledge of drilling/P&A related topics
7. General knowledge of associated disciplines. Geology, Petroleum Engineering and Reservoir
8. Operational wellsite experience
9. Good operating knowledge of Microsoft Suite
10. Advanced use of Excel for cost and performance analysis and PowerPoint for clear management reporting
11. IWCF (international well control forum)
12. Valid BOSIET
