Substance Misuse Nurse : Clouds House, Wiltshire

We are currently recruiting for a Substance Misuse Nurse based at Clouds House, Wiltshire.
Here at Forward Trust, Clouds House is one of Forward's residential substance misuse treatment centres in East Knoyle, Wiltshire.
Clouds House delivers a structured interpersonal and 12 Step treatment programme, designed to help those with substance and behavioural addiction maintain abstinence and develop long-term sustainable recovery.
Over the last 40 years, Clouds House has helped over 12,000 clients work towards a life in recovery and fostered a growing recovery culture through our alumni. Our aim is to increase recovery capital and provide treatment to as many clients as possible, regardless of means.

About The Role
To provide and supervise high standards of nursing care for the treatment and support of substance dependency, adhering to evidence-based practice, national guidelines, and policies.
The role involves working confidentially as an autonomous practitioner in the medical centre and as part of a multidisciplinary team, responsible for delivering and monitoring substance misuse interventions, maintaining treatment models, and being a proactive team member.
Responsibilities include holistic assessment, brief interventions, monitoring medical detoxifications and medications, crisis intervention, and health and wellbeing monitoring, within a behavior change framework.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide interventions and support for clients with complex needs, including triage, assessment, medication administration, and crisis support.
* Liaise with other professionals and team members in care planning and delivery.
* Promote clients' health and wellbeing and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment.
* Adhere to policies and procedures.
* Conduct initial health needs assessments, including mental health and substance use history.
* Develop, review, and implement care plans, coordinating with other agencies as appropriate.
Candidate Requirements
* A Degree or Advanced Diploma in Nursing (RGN, RMN, RNLD) with current UK registration; a Diploma/Degree in Substance Misuse or willingness to undertake is advantageous.
* Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team, with sound clinical knowledge, assessment skills, and understanding of risk assessments and recovery models.
