About the role:
We are currently recruiting an experienced Service Engineer/Service Technician to join our team at our depot in Walsall. This role is both a depot and field-based role covering operations across the West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically skilled engineer with diesel engine experience looking to develop their career.
What you’ll be doing:

1. Service, maintain, and repair pumps, generators, and diesel-powered equipment in both depot and field-based environments.
\n
2. Prepare and inspect equipment at the depot to ensure it is fully operational before deployment.
\n
3. Carry out major overhauls and refurbishments of end-of-life equipment.
\n
4. Diagnose faults and perform repairs to minimise equipment downtime.
\n
5. Collaborate effectively with the service team, hire controller, and foreman to ensure smooth operations.
