Responsibilities
The Packaging Buyer is responsible for maintaining the seamless flow of materials to support the company's commitment to delivering exceptional products while maintaining cost effectiveness and sustainability.
Specific Daily / Weekly Duties
* Co-ordinating daily / weekly stock levels through daily compilation of buying sheets.
* Maintaining weekly packaging forecast and liaising with suppliers.
* Preparing daily purchase orders on movex and updating on receipt of delivery notes
* Approving invoices
* Tracking orders to ensure that the deliveries that have been received are correct and liaising with suppliers on any issues. Raising disputes where necessary.
* Liaising with external warehouse / transport companies
* Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications. Raising disputes where necessary.
* Liaising with the Production, Purchasing, NPD, Finance, Technical and Operations teams to ensure a smooth running of the business.
