An established and expanding SME based in Eastleigh is looking to appoint a part time Bookkeeper to take ownership of a broad range of finance and administrative responsibilities. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys variety and autonomy within a supportive and purpose-driven organisation.
What will the Bookkeeper role involve?
* Managing day-to-day finance operations including data entry in Xero, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable.
* Handling monthly payroll, RTI submissions, pension compliance, and VAT returns.
* Monitoring cash flow and supporting quarterly and year-end financial reporting.
* Supporting payment tracking, debt collection, and liaising with project managers and accountants.
* Ensuring compliance with financial, legal, and HR regulations.
* Providing general office administrative support.
Suitable Candidate for the Bookkeeper vacancy:
* Previous experience in a similar, broad finance role
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Able to work with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
* Proactive and adaptable, with strong communication skills.
