Job Description:
Texo Recruitment is seeking Smart Meter Installer's for an exciting opportunity across the Highlands and Islands. This would be working on a rotational basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install and commission smart gas and electricity meters in line with safety and industry standards.
* Carry out thorough pre- and post-installation safety checks and tests.
* Diagnose and resolve meter or communication faults, escalating issues when required.
* Provide clear guidance to customers on smart meter operation and energy usage.
* Maintain accurate installation records, meter readings, and compliance documentation.
* Adhere to all health, safety, and regulatory requirements while managing tools and equipment effectively.
Requirements:
* Level 2 Diploma in Smart Metering
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
* Proven experience as an electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
* CompEx is desirable
Additional Information:
* Travel & Accommodation: Provided.
* Contract Duration: Ongoing
* Rate: £28 per hour (CIS or Ltd)
