Our client is looking for experienced ASPRO Engineers/Civil Project Engineers to join their dedicated team working on a Network Rail project via consultancy in York. This contract role offers the opportunity to shape the future of rail infrastructure over a period of 12 months with competitive rates based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate work with contractors and liaise with route engineers
Participate in engineering assurance activities to ensure compliance with safety, reliability, and environmental standards
Review designs, manage risk assessments (HAZOP, QRA), and verify engineering deliverables
Oversee method statements for site works and surveys
Ensure contractor competence and compliance with Network Rail standards
Job Requirements:
Preferably Chartered Engineer with a relevant degree (BSc/BEng or equivalent)
Experience in civil engineering within rail or infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of CDM 2015 and CSM 2013 regulations
Familiarity with Network Rail processes (handback, track support zone, quality management)
Ability to undertake the role of Project Engineer (PE)
