Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Secondary School based in Stoke-on-Trent who are seeking a general Cover Supervisor to start in September. The school are looking for someone who is passionate about the development of young students and their learning.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is considering a career in teaching but is seeking further experience within a mainstream secondary school.
About the role:
* Start-date: September
* Ongoing/long-term
* Opportunity to earn £90-£110 per day (dependent on experience)
As a general Cover Supervisor, you will cover a range of different classes in the absence of the class teacher; this can be any subject across KS3 and KS4/GCSE. You will ensure all pre-set work is completed to a high standard and behaviour policies are followed at all times. Additionally, you will work closely with support staff and Heads of departments to provide updates on behaviour and academic progress when necessary.

* Ability to manage behaviour and understand safeguarding procedures
