Deputy Care Home Manager (Nurse Qualified)

£22.50 per hour
Experienced nurses with a passion for high‑quality care and strong leadership will lead the home and support the Home Manager to deliver outstanding, person‑centred care. You will guide and inspire your team, ensuring residents receive the highest standards of dignity, respect, and clinical excellence. You will be hands‑on, visible, and proactive—creating a positive environment for residents, families and staff.
About The Role
As Deputy Care Home Manager you’ll have a vital role in leading the home and supporting the Home Manager to deliver outstanding, person‑centred care.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Support the day‑to‑day running of a busy nursing and residential care home
* Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing care team
* Ensure compliance with CQC standards and best practice
* Drive a culture of person‑centred care
* Build strong relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals
* Contribute to continuous improvement and service excellence
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings both clinical expertise and leadership energy. The ideal candidate will have the following:
* Registered Nurse (essential)
* Experience in a leadership role within a 40+ bed care home
* Strong background in dementia and general nursing care
* Confident knowledge of CQC regulations
* A natural leader who motivates and develops teams
* Passionate about delivering exceptional care
