Salary: £100-£115 per dayStart Date: ASAPContract Type: Long-term, Full-timeHours: 8:30am - 4:00pm (Monday to Friday)
Remedy Education are currently working with a fantastic primary school in Newham who are looking for a strong SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and inclusive setting.
About the Role
You will be providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN, including behavioural needs. This role is key in helping students stay engaged, regulate emotions, and make consistent progress.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
* Support the class teacher with lesson delivery and planning
* Manage behaviour and support emotional regulation
* Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement
* Help maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements
* Experience supporting children with SEN and challenging behaviour (school setting preferred)
* Calm, patient, and resilient approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Good level of spoken and written English
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
* Full CV covering the last 10 years (with gaps explained)
