Location: Rochdale
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Hourly Rate: £12.21
Contract: Temp – Perm
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Recycling Operative to join our client in Rochdale. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about recycling and sustainability in a manufacturing setting. As a Recycling Operative, you will play a vital role in sorting and processing recyclable materials, operating key machinery, and ensuring smooth recycling operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Cutting up tubes and other recyclable materials
Operating the baling machine to compact materials.
Ensuring all waste is processed efficiently and safely.
Maintaining a clean and organised recycling area.
Operating stacker trucks and counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently.Key Requirements:
Valid stacker truck and counterbalance forklift licenses.
Experience with operating a baling machine (preferred).
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards health and safety.
