M J Rees and Company Limited are a small Bristol based Chartered Land Survey company with a genuinely friendly, down-to-earth, personal approach. We are involved in some of the largest and most prestigious of projects. We are seeking to recruit a trainee land surveyor who will work alongside our surveyors to gain detailed knowledge of some or all of the following: topographical surveys, measured building surveys, 3d laser scanning, setting out, monitoring of structures, boundary disputes and utility surveys. The role will require travel, occasional night shifts and working away from home. Training will be provided through a combination of health and safety courses, external technical courses and in-house technical training. We would expect candidates to progress to surveyor grade where they are responsible for all stages of the work from job planning to delivery of final data.
