The Role

What the School is Looking For
* Are enrolled on or about to begin a UK‑accredited initial teacher training programme leading to QTS
* Hold a 2:1 or above in English, English Literature, or a closely related discipline from a reputable UK university, ideally Russell Group
* Can demonstrate some prior experience working with young people in a UK educational setting – voluntary, paid, or placement‑based
* Show genuine enthusiasm for literature and language and a clear commitment to building a long‑term career in teaching
* Are legally entitled to work in the UK – visa sponsorship is not available
This role is open to candidates undertaking formal UK teacher training only. Candidates without an accredited UK training programme in place will not be considered.
Salary & Contract
Salary in line with the school's trainee teacher pay structure, commensurate with the training programme and provider agreement.
