Blacksons is a fast-growing, nationwide network of RICS-qualified professionals, offering the opportunity to work autonomously while delivering expert built environment services. Operating across England, Scotland, and Wales, our consultants support a diverse client base, including landlords, developers, insurers, financial institutions, and legal professionals. As part of our dynamic team of Chartered Surveyors, Valuers, Building Engineers, and Environmental Health Practitioners, you'll have the freedom to shape your career while contributing to a wide range of technical and consultancy projects across the public and private sectors.
We anticipate you will be involved in the following instructions:
1. Expert witness
2. Specific defect inspections
3. Structural assessments
4. New build monitoring
5. Dilapidation services
6. Schedules of condition
7. License to alter
8. Party wall matters
We offer a personal and dedicated service coupled with an open and honest approach. All our experts are specialists in their field and have substantial experience in their geographical locations.
The successful candidate will have:
9. Degree in Building Surveying (RICS accredited)
10. MRICS/FRICS
11. Full UK driving licence and access to a car
12. Experience
13. Proficient use of Microsoft Office
14. Excellent and accurate report writing skills
15. Good technical writing and communication skills (both internal and external)
16. Strong numeracy skills
17. Ability to foster relationships with professionals of all levels
18. Well-organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage their time
19. Ability to meet deadlines
20. A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute
In return we offer:
21. Basic salary of £60,000 per annum
