About The Role
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, thrives in a fast‑paced commercial environment, and wants to build a career in finance.
In this role, you’ll support the Senior Management Accountant, the IT & Transformation team, and the wider business, helping deliver accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and strong budgetary control.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting month‑end close processes, including:
o Accruals, prepayments, and adjustments
o Accurate posting of revenue and costs
* Performing P&L variance analysis and investigating key drivers
* Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
* Assisting with budgets, forecasts, and re‑forecasts
* Producing insightful financial analysis to support decision‑making
* Responding to financial queries from business stakeholders
* Supporting reporting for IT costs, including REVEX overheads and Capex
* Identifying improvements to reporting accuracy and efficiency
* Building strong working relationships across Finance, IT, Commercial teams, and external stakeholders
* Delivering ad‑hoc analysis and reporting as required

Skills & Experience
* Strong Excel skills (essential)
* Studying towards (or keen to start) AAT, CIMA, or ACCA (a study package will be included in the role)
* Knowledge of accounting systems and financial processes
* Experience with reporting tools (e.g. Essbase) is advantageous
* Highly numerate with strong analytical ability
