We are looking for a L3 Qualified Childcare Nursery Manager to join our vibrant and friendly Day Nursery.

Our Ideal Candidate Will:
1. Hold a relevant Level 3 childcare qualification
2. Have 3 years of childcare experience
3. Have 3 years of experience working in a nursery setting
4. Have 2 years of managerial experience within a nursery setting
5. Be enthusiastic, fun, creative, and a good role model
6. Possess a passion, motivation, and drive for working with and educating children
7. Have a good understanding of the EYFS and Safeguarding policies and procedures
8. Be committed to self-development and motivated to keep knowledge and skills updated
9. Believe in promoting and building strong parent partnerships to provide cohesive learning for children
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and adherence to nursery policies and procedures
2. Promote and implement EYFS/SEND standards in your work
3. Ensure health, safety, security, and wellbeing of children, staff, and visitors
4. Participate in the key persons system, responsible for monitoring, assessing, and recording children's development and progress
5. Meet children’s emotional and social needs, applying positive behaviour management techniques
6. Support smooth settling-in and transition periods for children
7. Promote good personal and food hygiene, encouraging independence
8. Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, high-quality practice, flexibility, and promote equality and diversity
9. Plan activities tailored to each child's abilities, interests, language, and cultural background to support development through learning and play
10. Attend meetings, training, appraisals, and supervision sessions as required
11. Escalate practice or family concerns promptly, ensuring effective communication with parents and colleagues
12. Work effectively with management, colleagues, and other professionals, including family support workers, speech therapists, and SENCOs
