About Us: Brasserie Marceline is a 150 cover modern Brasserie nestled in the heart of Canary wharf looking to France with its feet firmly in London. Independently owned by proven restauranteurs with a passion for food and hospitality.
We are currently seeking an experienced Commis Waiter/Waitress to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, service-focused, and eager to develop within a dynamic and high-quality restaurant environment. As part of the team, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth delivery of service and upholding the standards that define Brasserie Marceline.
Role Overview: To provide excellent customer service to guests by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The Waiter/Waitress acts as the main point of contact between the guests and the restaurant, ensuring that all guests' needs are met promptly and efficiently.
* Greet and welcome guests promptly
* Address guests' queries and provide information about the menu, specials, and any dietary requirements
* Work closely with other wait staff, kitchen, and bar staff to ensure smooth operations
* Assist with setting up and breaking down the restaurant before and after service
Requirements: To excel in this role, you will need:
* Have previous experience as Waiter/Waitress in a busy, high standard environment.
* Ability to deliver high standards consistently
* Have excellent communication and organising skills
* Be a great team player
* Positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to exceed customer expectations
* Have lofty standards of health and hygiene
* Be passionate and enthusiastic about their job
