Temp & Permanent OpportunitiesLocation: Outskirts of Chelmsford, Essex (Office-Based)
We are recruiting for a newly created Management Accountant role, offering both temporary and permanent opportunities, based on the outskirts of Chelmsford, Essex. This position is fully office-based, Monday to Friday, and will therefore suit candidates who are locally based and able tomute to the office 5 days per week.
The RoleThis is a broad, hands-on Management Accountant position within a growing business. As this is a newly created role, you will have the opportunity to help shape processes, improve reporting, and add real value through insight and problem-solving.Key responsibilities will include:
1. Preparation of monthly management accounts
2. Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
3. Producing accurate and timely financial reports
4. Supporting operational teams with financial insight
5. Improving and streamlining finance processes
6. Ad hoc analysis and involvement in business projects
The Ideal Candidate
7. Ideally ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualified, though strong Finalists or excellent QBE candidates will also be considered
8. Proven experience within a Management Accountant or similar role
9. Confident working in a fast-paced, changing environment
10. Innovative, solutions-focused and able to adapt quickly
11. Strong attention to detail with a proactive mindset
