We are now seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our London team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics functions.
Role overview:
The Warehouse Manager will lead a team of warehouse technicians, ensuring that equipment is checked, maintained, and dispatched to the highest standard. This role requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and attention to detail to guarantee that every job is delivered on time and to specification. The Warehouse Manager will report to the London Managing Director and Operations Manager. Prior experience in the AV industry is an advantage but not essential, as training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee all warehouse logistics, ensuring accurate movement of equipment and timely dispatch to clients.
· Manage all warehouse staff and issue tasks ensuring all warehouse departments are covered and tasks are completed in order of urgency.
· Coordinate transport for deliveries and collections, including out-of-hours requirements, and ensure appropriate staffing is in place.
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
· Manage warehouse staff scheduling, timekeeping, breaks, and annual leave, setting a strong example of professionalism and punctuality.
· Loading and unloading of trucks and vans.
· Identifying any shortfalls in stock before jobs are dispatched.
* Collaborate with our Midlands warehouse manager to ensure consistency across locations.
· Support the upkeep and accuracy of the computer-based booking system.
· Work closely with our Project Managers to ensure equipment is prepared according to project requirements.
· Liaising with our Hire Coordinators who take booking from clients.
Requirements
· Our work involves out-of-hours shifts so there will be a need for occasional late-night, early start and Weekends therefore flexible working hours are required.
· Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
· Effective communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams and departments.
· A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to adapt to the fast-paced nature of the events industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £30,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
