About the Role
As Team Leader, you will guide and support a dedicated staff team, ensuring the home provides a safe, nurturing, child-centred environment. You’ll lead shifts, mentor staff, and uphold the highest standards of safeguarding, OFSTED compliance, and therapeutic care.

* Children’s Residential Homes
* EBD (Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties)
* Young People’s Services
* Supported Living for Children & Young People
* OFSTED-regulated care
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor and motivate your team with consistency and compassion
* Ensure high-quality care aligned with OFSTED regulations and safeguarding standards
* Build trusted relationships with young people, families, social workers and external agencies
* Champion best practice in care planning, risk management and reporting
* Promote a positive, stable, homely environment where young people can thrive
* Support continuous improvement and contribute to the home’s long-term success
What You’ll Need
* Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – essential
* Experience working in a Children’s Residential Home
* Strong understanding of OFSTED standards, safeguarding and regulatory frameworks
* A driving licence is strongly preferred
* Confident leading shifts and supporting junior staff
* Passionate about improving outcomes for young people
