Associate Landscape Architect / Planner - York | £50,000-£60,000 DOE | Strategic Landscape & Planning Projects We're seeking an Associate Landscape Architect / Planner to take a leading role in the delivery of strategic, high-impact projects across landscape planning, assessment, and policy. You'll be working on a broad mix of schemes including Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects, Local Plan evidence bases, and green infrastructure strategies. This is a senior position with real scope to shape both projects and client relationships - ideal for someone looking to step into a visible, trusted role within a well-established and collaborative consultancy. What you'll be doing: Lead and manage landscape planning projects including LVIAs, TVIAs, and strategic studies. Guide Local Plan evidence work such as Landscape Sensitivity Assessments and Green Infrastructure Strategies. Build and manage client relationships, contributing to business development. Support and mentor junior team members across project delivery. Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team on large-scale planning and infrastructure work. What we're looking for: Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI). Proven experience in landscape planning and assessment within the UK planning system. Excellent report writing, communication, and client-facing skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office; GIS or Civils 3D experience advantageous. Full UK driving licence.
