Head Chef
The key responsibilities will include:
1. Manage all production functions of the kitchen and the kitchen staff.
2. Motivate, develop, and train supervisors and culinary staff to meet and exceed established food preparation standards.
3. Exhibit exceptional leadership by providing a positive work environment, counseling employees as appropriate, and demonstrating a dedicated and professional approach to management.
4. Review staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met.
5. Ensure the correct procedures are followed while maintaining high standards at all times.
6. Actively involved in menu development and calculating food costs for all menu items.
7. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements.
Essential skills required:
1. Experience and understanding of food mass production.
2. Passionate about food, with a charismatic, vibrant, and high-energy approach.
3. Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and handling complex dietary requirements including allergies and intolerances.
4. Experience in leading, motivating, and inspiring a team.
5. Performance, achievement, and results-driven.
