A day in the life of…
As a Meeting & Events Coordinator, you will manage and promote all meetings and events within the hotel from an office setting. You will be a key contact and ambassador, with expert knowledge of hotel facilities and services, providing tailored advice to clients.
Your responsibilities include handling inquiries via phone, email, or in person, ensuring prompt responses, collaborating with team members, coordinating with hotel departments, supporting sales efforts, and achieving departmental targets and KPIs.
You will coordinate various events such as corporate meetings, social gatherings, and weddings, managing logistics from planning to execution. Training in reservations will be provided to support your role, along with broader team duties.
Located at Holiday Inn Southend, next to London Southend Airport, the hotel features 129 modern bedrooms, meeting & event facilities, and the '1935' rooftop restaurant and bar.
What do we need from you?
We seek someone passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and embodying our brand standards. Prior experience in event coordination, preferably in a hotel, is advantageous but not essential.
