GSL Education is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school located in Loughton. This is a long-term, full-time role, perfect for someone who’s compassionate, proactive, and ready to make a real difference every day

About the Role
You’ll be supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs — helping them to engage in lessons, build confidence, and develop key skills.
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO, you’ll provide one-to-one and small group support, ensuring every child receives the encouragement and attention they deserve.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting pupils with additional needs in and outside the classroom
* Assisting with tailored learning plans and adapting activities where needed
* Encouraging independence, social interaction, and positive behaviour
* Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils and staff
* Helping to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment

What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience supporting children with SEN (school or childcare setting)
* A patient, empathetic, and positive approach to working with children
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
Relevant qualifications ( CACHE Level 2/3 or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
