About Our Client

Job Description
The role is responsible for the end-to-end Supply Chain Performance of the UK Business including specifically the financial and operational performance of the site. You will own supply chain performance, ensuring consistency between the Demand Plan, Sales and Operations Plan, Financial Plans in accordance with the Medium-Term Plan and the Product Review.
3. Accountable for Customer-on-Time Delivery to External and Internal customers
4. Process Owner of local Integrated Business Planning in terms of consistency between demand forecast, the innovation plan, capacity plans, the financial plan in line with the medium-term and forecasts
5. Develop and execute the supply chain strategy and the goals in line with group strategy.
6. Deliver the Inventory plan aligned with the medium-term plan ensuring strategic buffers are in place, stock days to optimise the flow of material to enable to execution of the customer delivery requirements.
7. Provide effective leadership to deploy the business vision, specific SMART objectives and KPI's across the Supply Chain organisation and as part of the Senior team
8. Participate and support the Global Governance structure ensuring full representation
9. Build transparency and confidence within the customer relationships, clear communication and action flow around demand management, risk identification, transformation progress with a collaborate approach to identify and manage all risks, ensure robust business continuity plans are in place
10. Analyse internal and external trends to identify potential risks and opportunities.
11. Align supply chain transformation goals with overall business strategy, customer expectations, and operational performance targets.
12. Participate in proposal and support of the industrial scheme: make suggestions and recommendations for make or buy of in-house manufactured products.
13. Development of robust procurement processes and ensure materials supplied meet delivery and quality requirements
14. Lead the logistics team to ensure smooth operations and on-time delivery
15. Assure individual Human Resource Management in all its forms (training, career development, and employee relations issues)
16. Develop and manage Succession and Talent management plans.
The Successful Applicant
17. Proven leadership across planning, procurement, logistics, supply management and inventory control
18. You will hold a senior supply chain position within aerospace, automotive or industrial
19. Experience owning end-to-end supply chain performance for a multi-site or global organisation.
20. Demonstrated ability to improve core KPIs
21. Detailed vision of the production processes and the company's supply chain
22. Proficiency in the MRPII process
23. Proficiency of business economics
24. Team management in a matrix environment
25. Be capable of communicating with an English speaking UAP/Supplier, both verbally and in writing
26. APICS CPIM or working towards or other relevant business qualification.
What's on Offer
£80,000 to £90,000 plus car allowance, bonus and beneifts
