The role
Build and maintain the data warehouse foundations that support all business units and new AI initiatives. Work with the Head of Data Engineering to build and maintain the data warehouse foundations and support the group wide data warehousing strategy. Collaborate with BI/Reporting, Data Science, AI and Data Governance teams.
Responsibilities
* Build and maintain ETL pipelines
* Manage and maintain the Group Data Warehouse
* Data platforms administration
* Ensure relevant technical documentation is in place
About You
Looking for someone who can roll their sleeves up and ‘dig in’ with the rest of the team. The successful candidate should have:
* Excellent writing and communication skills with an attention to detail
* Experience writing, troubleshooting, and debugging advanced SQL queries
* Outstanding analytical and problem‑solving skills
* Experience working with ETL/ELT, and reporting and analytic tools
* Experience designing data warehouse technical architectures and infrastructure components
* Programming experience in Python

* Understanding of cloud computing security concepts
* Experience in relational cloud based database technologies like Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift
* Experience in open source technologies like Spark, Kafka, Beam
* Good understanding of Cloud providers – AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud
* Familiarity with DBT, Delta Lake, Databricks
* Experience working in an agile environment
* Experience working with AI tools (Claude code, Cortex etc)
