JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Night Accommodation and Support Worker who has experience working with young people aged 16–25, with empathy, patience, and dedication to provide exceptional support.
As the Night Accommodation and Support Worker, you will work as part of a team to provide a safe and homely environment for young people during evenings and nights.
Your responsibilities include arranging positive activities such as cooking, board games, film nights, and quizzes to build relationships and engage residents.
DUTIES
Your duties will include:
* Supporting young people outside of main working hours within housing projects and the community
* Working with the team to ensure a safe environment during evenings and nights
* Organizing activities to foster relationships and engagement
* Delivering targeted support as directed by the Team Leader, such as assisting with tenancy programs
* Providing trauma-informed support and appropriate interventions
* Ensuring compliance with placement agreements and house rules
* Implementing policies, including safeguarding measures
* Maintaining accurate records, including case notes and incident reports
* Ensuring living environments are maintained and reporting repairs
* Keeping client information confidential and secure
* Participating in a rota system covering evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
* Completing induction and mandatory training
* Handling housing management tasks, including administration and safety checks
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
* Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays
* Proficiency with IT systems like Outlook and Microsoft Office
* Experience working with young people with complex needs
* Flexibility
* Full Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle
