We are currently looking to hire a People Business Partner on a Maternity Cover basis to run from December 2025- February 2027.
The People Business Partner serves a strategic partner to the business working closely with the leadership and executive team to drive organisational effectiveness and productivity, aligning people practices with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Embedding people centric thinking to deliver exceptional end to end customer service, by collaborating with line managers to build and deliver enduring people solutions
• Deliver the People Strategy and support people projects
• First point of contact for advice and support for line managers with people processes including updates to People Systems, letters, ER etc
• Help understand the culture and engagement of business teams, Implement and feedback initiatives from employee engagement surveys and other listening tools
• Keep up to date with legislation, maintain people policies and communication to the business
• Support and deliver people soft skills training to leaders in the business
• Support line managers to develop their leadership skills including performance management processes including Objective setting, PDRs & PIPs
• Work with IT team to develop HRIS Reporting, People KPI Dashboards and provide insights to the business to help drive performance
• Responsible for delivering the company induction for all new starters and work with line managers & Talent Manager to ensure robust and engaging onboarding experience
• Ensure that People systems are always compliant with GDPR and all relevant UK/EU & US legislation
• To champion wellbeing, inclusion activities and charitable causes
• Complete exit interviews when required and review feedback and actions if needed
• Support with company payroll processes including administering benefits, absence, holiday & ad hoc payments
• Organise / support team building events & away days when required
• Partner and network with DLRC Inc & Orphix teams when required.
Required Experience:
• CIPD Level 5 (Essential)
• Currently/previous position working as a People Business Partner/Senior People Advisor
• Qualified to work in the UK
• Fluent in English
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across all departments to achieve common goals and support organisational initiatives
• Able to guide, inspire and support teams to reach their potential while driving alignment with strategic business objectives
• Articulate ideas and initiatives clearly and persuasively to various stakeholders, ensuring understanding and alignment
• Skillfully navigate discussions to reach mutually beneficial agreements while balancing organisational and employee interests
• Provide constructive feedback and support to help individuals develop their skills and advance their careers
• Analyse information to make informed and strategic decisions that drive business success
• Manages and oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
