The Role
* Leading and managing the Art department across KS3, KS4, and KS5
* Driving high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment within Art
* Supporting and developing staff through mentoring, coaching, and performance management
* Overseeing curriculum planning, coursework, and examination outcomes
* Managing departmental resources, budgets, and displays
* Contributing to whole-school initiatives and the wider creative curriculum
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A degree in Art, Fine Art, or a related subject
* Proven experience teaching Art at secondary level
* Previous leadership experience within an Art department or readiness to step up
* A strong track record of raising standards and pupil outcomes
* Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
