SEO Manager An ideal position for a cool, calm and collected individual who thrives on being at the centre of a fast-moving and exciting business, who has experience working specifically within SEO. As an SEO Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of new and existing campaigns across an exciting array of clients and ensuring that they are delivered to the highest standard. You will have a strong and clear understanding of SEO and how to apply it strategically and tactically to achieve results. You will have 2-4 years working specifically in SEO in another agency. You will be able to clearly demonstrate strong time and task management skills. Your communications skills will be excellent, both in a client-facing capacity and in written English. Experience of other marketing channels would be useful as would a high level of broader business understanding and acumen. Minimum 3 years of experience working in an SEO role at an SEO agency Demonstrable experience developing and executing SEO strategies for clients Strong understanding of: Technical SEO: how it is important and the major elements that affect site performance. On-page SEO and content including EEAT: Outside of the fundamentals such as how content ties into strategy and algorithm updates. Off-site SEO and the role the discipline plays in a campaign. How these all relate to one another and how to communicate about them to different audiences (stakeholders, marketing, SEO consultants, etc). Knowledge or experience of working with CMS systems. Creating and shaping effective SEO campaigns that exceed the expectations of the client Delivering technical audits, keyword research and on-page recommendations Be very comfortable and confident managing day-to-day client relationships through face-to-face meetings, frequent conference calls, and presentations Reviewing campaigns, analysing data and providing actionable reports Excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven environment Communicating to other team members and clients who aren’t technically focused An understanding of site analytics tools, such as Google Analytics/SEOGets/Search Console/SEMRush and similar. Strong organisational and presentation skills. Exceptional communication skills. The ability to give and receive feedback in a constructive, kind manner.
