Scan 4 Safety Assistant (Wythenshawe Hospital)

Responsibilities:
* Implement and maintain service standards across key departments and wards, undertaking day‑to‑day ordering activity on behalf of the customer, in line with agreed protocols.
* Ensure customer requirements are always met in the most cost‑effective way possible, ensuring continuity of supplies.
* Carry out quarterly reviews with appropriate ward/departmental leads, using system information to illustrate spending patterns, identify and agree on product and stock levels, monitor usage and activity patterns and place timely and accurate orders to maintain agreed levels.
* Maintain regular customer contact to review stock levels and product range, reflect activity and update in agreement with the customer.
* Assist in value‑for‑money studies to contribute to savings set targets and regularly report spend/saving activity.
* Receive, check and put away all deliveries, ensuring items are rotated, stored in the correct location and the store areas are left tidy.
* Process and monitor discrepancies ensuring that returns and credits are processed appropriately.
