Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Commercial/Consumer and Trade Marketing Leader to join an iconic brand celebrating its 200th anniversary this year. In this role, you will drive marketing activities to enable the regional teams to meet targets, develop UK, ROI & EMEA marketing strategies to build the Clarks global brand, and ensure an excellent consumer experience across all touchpoints. You will be accountable for delivering a holistic marketing approach and developing the brand to foster desire and emotional connections with consumers.
We offer hybrid working; candidates must be able to attend our head office at 40 High Street, Street, Somerset, BA16 0EQ, at least 2-3 days per week.
What You'll Be Doing
* Provide strategic input into group marketing strategy and lead the development and execution of UK, ROI & EMEA marketing strategies.
* Develop plans for each marketing mix component to ensure consistent brand presentation across channels and media.
* Plan retail presence and marketing to ensure optimal brand presentation across retail formats, aligned with global and regional strategies.
* Ensure effectiveness of brand assets and marketing materials.
* Partner with commercial teams to deliver a consistent brand experience.
* Lead and develop the UK, ROI & EMEA marketing team.
* Build strong partnerships within the global marketing team.
* Oversee external agencies and suppliers, ensuring performance and cost efficiency.
* Evaluate and report on marketing activities using key performance indicators.
* Manage regional creative and messaging, ensuring assets meet brand guidelines.
What You'll Bring
* Strong background in Commercial Marketing.
* Experience in Consumer and Trade Marketing across demographics.
* Knowledge of effective consumer and trade communication strategies.
* Experience in the Footwear and/or Apparel industry.
* Understanding of the full marketing mix, including trade and e-commerce marketing.
* Ability to develop strategic marketing and seasonal plans.
* Skills in delivering consumer insights through formal and informal methods.
* Experience in developing marketing operations processes.
Successful Experience
* Proven success as a Brand/Marketing Manager in a regional or key market role within a global consumer brand.
* Experience managing retail marketing communications, events, and materials.
* Familiarity with cross-functional dynamics in multinational companies.
* Knowledge of multi-channel delivery (retail, wholesale, digital, etc.).
* Track record in leading multi-country initiatives.
* Experience in developing advertising campaigns and creative assets.
* Effective team and agency management and motivation skills.
