Work Level: WL2C
Function: HR – Global Business Services (GBS)
Location: Global / Agnostic (with ability to work in European time zone)

About the Role

As the Global HR Business Partner for People Experience (PEX), Global Marketing Services (GMS), and Workplace Services (WPS), you will play a pivotal role in shaping how Unilever designs, delivers, and transforms employee‑centric, tech‑enabled global services. You will partner with senior global leaders across GBS to drive organisational change, build future‑fit capabilities, strengthen the employee experience, and lead end‑to‑end HR transformation programmes across three of Unilever's most dynamic service engines.

This is a high‑impact role suited to a bold, strategic, and highly collaborative HR leader passionate about global transformation, capability building, and human‑centred design.

What You Will Lead

1. People Experience (PEX)

Lead development of the global PEX capability framework, including a future ambition for accreditation.

Shape and execute PEX's global talent development approach, building next‑gen capability pipelines.

Partner with the VP People Experience to deliver the global PEX blueprint, ensuring design, location, and operating model principles are applied consistently across markets.

Act as a strategic partner to HR teams globally to embed People Experience transformation with a strong social responsibility and Future‑of‑Work lens.

Support hub resourcing, transition planning, employee consultation, and responsible redeployment.

Own and track key milestones and KPIs for the people implementation roadmap.

2. Global Marketing Services (GMS)

Lead the HR change and transformation agenda for GMS as it shifts into a digitally enabled, centralised, partner‑led operating model.

Partner with GMS leadership on organisational design, hub structures, role transitions, and capability mapping.

Act as the primary HR interface for global GMS leaders, ensuring alignment between functions, hubs, and transformation teams.

Drive capability-building plans (e.g., digital marketing operations, partner management, automation).

Ensure exceptional employee experience throughout organisational changes, including consultation, communication, and transition support.

Oversee governance, risk management, and milestone tracking for the transformation roadmap.

3. Workplace Services (WPS)

Partner with Workplace Services leadership to build sustainable, smart, tech‑enabled workplace environments.

Support organisation design, capability development, and role clarity across safety, sustainability, facilities management, and employee experience functions.

Lead people‑related change interventions connected to workplace and location strategy.

Drive employee experience and wellbeing improvements in workplace transformation environments.

Oversee performance tracking, workforce management, and responsible execution of transition and exit processes.

4. Cross‑Portfolio Leadership

Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across PEX, GMS, WPS, and GBS.

Drive people‑data governance, ensuring high‑quality inputs (e.g., PEX Transfer Matrix improvements).

Support major global transformation programmes spanning org design, operating model evolution, and workforce shaping.

Lead talent, succession, leadership development, and culture interventions across functions.

Collaborate deeply with HRBPs, TA, Capability, Finance, ER, and Regional/Cluster HR teams.

What You Will Bring

Strong HRBP experience in large, global, matrixed organisations.

Proven expertise in transformation, change management, and organisation design.

Experience in shared services, marketing operations, digital, or workplace/facilities environments is highly desirable.

Exceptional influencing skills and stakeholder partnership across senior global teams.

Ability to navigate complexity, ambiguity, and multicultural environments with resilience and agility.

A passion for capability building, future‑ready talent, and human‑centred design.
